Im not the least bit concerned with better gas mileage, its the high RPM that im trying to resolve. It would be nice to have better mileage, but these dudes arent made to be economical.
Spent some time last night looking at other RV's in our price range with better gearing and at least one slide out. It apears for maybe $20k we could have a one or two year slightly newer well used RV wit everything we want. Im tempted to sell the Pace Arrow and add some $ out of my pocket to it. It will cost around $4,000 or so to have a Gear Vendors installed. I think we could get $15,000 out of the Pace Arrow if sold to private party rather than trade in, maybe. Add $4k to the $15k and its right close to what it would cost to switch. So i got some decisions to make.
