that would be my choice on my own piece of property, considered it but havent done it,the problem would be haveing the county or area your in to allow you to do it full time because of the zoneing laws in place.i know of some who done it some legal some not.depends on the area.

well id be eventually building a carport or maybe a large garage id find a place thatd allow it and then go from there i like to be able to move around but i dont like the idea of leaving crutial items behind
so if i got a large camper to live in itd be alright then i can unhook and go out
ofcoarse itd b my property id hate to be kicked out like overstaying your welcome at a campsite plus i will be at that location pretty much so bills are not a big deal

around here you can build a large garage and put the rv in it and maybe get away with living in it but you cant do it outside in the open depending on zoning, some areas only allow it during the summer months for a maximum of 6 months there always trying to pass new restrictive zoning laws.

We're living in our 5vr on our own property on one of two full hookup sites I built. We wouldn't think of putting it up on blocks since that would defeat the idea of living in an RV for us. We still pull out and travel but return here since I haven't retired yet. When I do retire we will still use the site as a home base since daughter and her family took over the farm. We are definitely enjoying our new lifestyle and fully intend to keep it up after retirement.

Since we live on our own property in three states, I just wondered where you got the notion to put it on blocks?
