During the WINTER months I average drinking between SIX and TEN 12 oz bottles of water every day of the week..

But during the hot SUMMER months I average between TEN and FIFTEEN 12 oz bottles every day..

And in addition to the water I drink each day, I also drink two 20 oz cups of hot tea and two 20 oz glasses of ice tea per day and one can of soda pop.

I also drink a minimum of three beers per week as prescribed by my doctor.. Yes, I'm serious....
beer helps prevents dehydration and my doctor told me to drink one every day, but I cheat and only drink one about every other day or so..

Salt is important also... so I average a couple of handfuls of salty snacks each day.... like peanuts or chips, etc,... in addition to my two** regular meals each day.

** I only eat breakfast and dinner, never lunch..

Whats your daily intake of liquids during the hot summertime ?

I hope you are hooked up to a night drainage container when you sleep.
works for me.
Now tell me how one gets addicted to alcohol like most people. My system never craves it nor can tolerate it. I'm really strange.

Dr. dean Adel had a piece on his radio program yesterday about outlandish water consumption. If you live in Death Valley with a humidity of 5% maybe, but not "Cartoon City".

With all honesty, have you considered that while drinking all of those fluids, that your electrolytes could flush out?

If I drank that much per day, I'd be making an appointment for a check-up ASAP. I would be very worried about diabetes or other underlying medical issues.

Of course, if one is outside a lot in high temps and sweating profusely, then certainly you need to consume more than someone who spends most of the day inside in the AC.

I am trying to get away from coffee/tea especially in the evenings, and have substituted a glass of ice water, and may consume about 24 ounces a day. (I filter my water, so don't waste money on bottled water)

I take a potassium supplement vs. salt so I don't have swelling issues. But, I do not consume alcoholic beverages due to the meds I take.

Did very well getting away from drinking sodas, and am giving up processed sugar in beverages.

I drink between four & eight glasses everyday, summer, fall, winter, or spring. Some days more if I'm working out in the yard or painting or the like.

Water is good for us!
