Anyone ever take their RV over Sherman Pass in Washington between Republic and Kettle Falls?

We've never been their before and are planning a trip in that area. Since its listed as Washington's highest pass and its neither an interstate or a US highway, I wanted to make sure that the road wasn't too steep for reasonable motorhome travel.

Using the contours on Google Maps Terrain mode, I calculate that the grade on the east side of the pass (to the point it starts following a river valley) is 6%. Specifically it drops from 5400 to 4200 in 3.8 miles. And 5% on the west side (5400 to 4600 in 3 miles).

These mountains aren't as rugged as the Cascades.

You shouldn't have any problems, just take your time as the highway is in mountainous terrain. It's been a couple years since we've driven over that section of SR 20, use caution and shift to lower gear if necessary when going downhill. You will find that the road standard is almost identical to that of a US designated highway in similar surroundings. SR 20 is the main highway serving that part of WA and carries quite a bit of truck traffic at times, so it's not a four-wheel drive obstacle course by any means.
