I......,I mean this guy, this weekend while dumping shortened his hose by twisting it a bit and the hose turned itself off of the valve while dumping the black tank of course, what a mess, caught it pretty quickly though and closed the valve !!!!!
I .....I mean this guy cleaned everything up real well, but learned a very valuble lesson.
Thank GOD nobody was waiting behind me, I mean him, to witness this disaster.
they have a name for people like you.... I mean not you, this guy!!!

The only thing that would have made it worse was if you were sneaking onto a full hook-up site at the CG because the line at the dump station was too long. Then you pull into the site the wrong way and have to stretch your dump hose all the way to the other side of the TT to reach the hook up. Then you pulled out your flush king to give it a good cleaning. Then you hook up the flush king and hose, opened the valve and nothing went past the flush king's clear tube. Then you realized that you hadn't taken the cap off the flush king and you had a dump pipe full of black water with no where to go because it's too late to take the cap off. Then you bite the bullet, close the valve and unhook the dump hose and everything in the pipe lands on the ground. Then you have nothing to clean up with except a couple of plastic dinner plates. Then you can't get the water working on the site to clean up your mess because you don't understand the funky water faucet the CG has for the full hook ups. So you have to go over and ask someone how to get the water on. Then you spend the next 30 minutes cleaning up your mess with 20 people you don't know watching the debacle.
By the way, this didn't happen to me either

NASTY, NASTY, NASTY stuff
Yes it really sucked, but what the heck. I'm not too proud to tell stories on myself and I've gotten a lot of laughs when I share it with my friends. I rolled when I saw the scene of Robin Williams from RV, because it absolutely was me! I learned a great lesson. I have the utmost respect for the dump hose now. I check, double check, and triple check everything before "letting loose!!!"
Hoses????? Who needs hoses.............when it is as hot as it was yesterday while emptying our blue tank. We said the heck with it and let it fly without the hose.........after all we have the stomachs for doing it that way now. Nearly everyone we know lets the poo fly.........of course it is hillarious when someone who doesn't know that we are seasonals at the CG, is there in line at the dump watching this scene. Imagine........pull up to the dump in your rig and there we are, the regulars with the blue tank hitched to the golf cart, unhitching and letting it all out sans the hose.......rinsing it all down the drain......... I know that sounds gross to some but it's a lot faster than the whole connect the hose, lift the tank, drain, rinse, repeat,....................
I also did same thing this past weekend. had all hooked up good but when that "rush" hit the hose, it knocked the far end loose. AS I grabbed it I must have twisted the connection end so it un-connected. Got it shut off quickly, but then had to clean up. Looked around and no one was looking, that I could tell.
