Would there be any problems with using a new sanotized tote along for fresh water storage and transporation?

Probably not. I would definately want to mark it really well so that someone doesn't mistake it for a gray water tank.

No not at all. However Walmart sells some square 7 gal jugs with pour spouts that store easily and would be much easier to transfer the water from the container to the TT.

My only concern would be the leaching of the plastic into the water. Some plastics are not rated for human consumption. You could properly email or call the manufacture to find out. JM2Cens Bill.

You need to be sure the plastic on the tote is suitable for potable water.

My blue tote doesn't seal that well. I think it would leak while transporting and, it's probably not the best plastic for water. There are lots of containers made specifically for water that you can use for drinking.

I wouldn't use one for drinking water myself. buy a jug made for it for that purpose. but you would gather a crowd if you sat outside sipping out of a blue tote with a straw.
