Bet the guy following you made some noise. Looks like the bolts holding the spring loaded pin vibrated loose. I guess you didn't notice any slack in them when when lifting the landing gear lower assembly? (btw, made up that term. dunno what you call the bottom of the landing gear)

i dont see what that wouldnt be warranty-only a year old and you should have two years from jayco, plus whatever other components have. good luck with getting it off the truck.

No noise at all was pulling into a gas station,It dropped about 5 feet in front of a speed bump. The only noise it made was when the leg with the foot hit the asphalt kind of like tink noise.Thats what me stop.

Good thing it didnt happen on the freeway or that leg would have hit someone elses car or they would have hit it.

My 2007 JayFlight came with bolt on pin set. The pin went through only one set of holes on one side of the leg, not all the way through the leg. I removed them and put the old conventional pin with the snap ring attached. Not because what happened to you, but because some were dropping while setting at the camp site or in storage.

Jim, I can't see the picture real clear. Was this a full "push through pin" that came out or was it a "spring loaded type"? The problem you're going to have with Jayco is they will try and say you didnt make sure it was secure. If this was a "spring loaded type" that you installed after purchase then they probably won't cover it.....
