I want to thank everyone in this forum who gave advice and answered my endless questions about Van Conversions, Sprinters, Roadtrek, etc, etc, etc. I finally purchased a 2006 Roadtrek RS Adventurous on Ebay from someone in Florida for $55,200. It has 37,000 miles on it. Can't wait to fly there and pick it up and start RV'ing.
We are upgrading from a tent!!!!!

I noticed the bidding on Ebay... so you are the grand prize winner!
If I'm not terribly mistaken, and please correct me if I am, you just bought the exact same rig that we have... fixed beds, swivel front and back seats, "first edition" style graphics, beige interior.

Yes, it has 4 captain chairs, kind/twin beds in the rear, a ton of options. He said he has it fully loaded with all the fuel, propane, toilet chemicals, electric cord, and vehicle cover to give me. Always garaged. I believe it is a beige interior. I will copy one of the pictures off of Ebay and include it as part of my signature.
It was heavy bidding at the end. One bidder upped his amount by another $1,100 and waited until the very last second. I already had it covered. LOL

Let us know how the first visit goes. If it as was portrayed on the Ebay site. For some reason, I would get very nervious bidding on something I had never seen, except thru pictures.

Yes, it is risky bidding on such a high priced item on Ebay but the seller had close to 500 items he sold including a couple of cars and all the buyers were very complementary about the seller.
I will update you guys on how it all turns out.

Congratulations. I purchased my van on e-bay too. It was at a Chevrolet dealer that had traded for it and didn't know anything about the van or conversion. That caused a couple of problems since I had never owned any kind of rv before and Sprinters were relatively new 4 years ago.
Enjoy your trip home and don't hesitate to get in here and ask for help.
