I bought the 2002 Georgie Boy Velocity!! The fiberglass body is oxidized and is going to need the roof resealed. It is a 30 foot motorhome, anyone know a price for resealing roof? Is there a special wax for fiberglass to get rid of oxidation. Thanks.

I am looking at purchasing a 2002 georgie boy velocity with a v10 engine. Anyone owning past or present please give me pros and cons of this motorhome.

there are several options for oxidized fiberglass the best on is elbow grease and a good wax/restorer.

Congrats on the MH !!.

You might look into Eternabond for your roof resealing project. Here is a forum search on that topic for you - grab a chair and a tall glass of diet coke, you will need it... lol :

Eternabond topic search.

For the fiberglass I would try GelGloss. It can be found at Lowe's and most grocery stores in the cleaning section. I redid a 10 yr. old Class C and it came out pretty good. Depending on the severity, you might be able to buff it out with a good cleaner wax. I'm sure others will weight in with their recommendations on that as well.

Good luck and welcome to the Class A forum. !!!
