Hi everyone,
I am so thankful for this forum. There is nothing like learning from experience and I'm glad you are all so willing to share yours.
We are taking a trip from BC to the Oregon coast in September and would greatly appreciate your input on what to see/do along the way as well as where to stay/stay away from. There is so much to see and so little time. We still have a few years to retirement.
Also, this will be our first time taking a TT across the border. Any tips would be welcomed here as to making a smooth crossing. Are there things we need to register before crossing? electronics? pets?
Thank you for any and all input.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Vee.

I would not depend on the unprofessional opinions of this forums members on information that changes often. Suggest that you review current info on the CPB.gov web site:

What do you like / want to see on the Oregon coast?
Lot of history in Astoria.
South of Astoria is crowds, shopping and traffic.
The central coast is more rocky, with some sandy beaches.
The south coast is more long sandy beaches.

I (2-10-05) bought a 2002 F350 CC SWD PSD and a new 2003 Citation 10'8. Rancho 9000X & Toyo M55's.I have been a tent camper all my life. I wanted more comfort while doing my Willamette Backcountry Ski Patrol & Crater Lake Ski Patrol duties.11

things I'd see in WA state on your way down:

Deception Pass SP
Pacfic Beach SP

then the 101 from there.

Of course the whole Olympic Peninsula can take a few decades to really see

Depends on how much time you have - never enough right?
