Hi All,
I have had AOL for about 15 years.About 3 years ago I got Verizon DSL and was going to cancel AOl but they said I could tag AOl onto the Verizon DSL for $6.95 per month soI kept it.It went up last year to $8.95 and now it's going up to $11.95 so I want to cancel it.I remember they said even if you don't use AOL you can still kepp your AOL e-mail address. My question is,how do I do that?
AOL is FREE if you have ANY ISP (Internet Service Provider) ie; Verizon DSL.
I too have had AOL about 15 years. I use HughesNet Internet Satellite which is MY ISP. AOL has been free for about 3 years. No need to give up your email address and NO need to pay. You can find the info by clicking this the link Change My Price Plan

I've had AOL since Steve Case used to answer the CS phone (a long time). As has been mentioned, unless you need phone support, call them and tell them you want conversion to "free" status. You can either use their web page, or the full AOL application. I cancelled my grandfathered $5 subscription as soon as the policy was announced.

NO, NOT everyone else!
Only the ones who know the secrets of life...or in this case the not so secret FREE AOL!
If I could have just 1% of the $$$ that people are paying to AOL needlessly I would be very happy.
Meanwhile back at the oasis the OP has not been back yet to say thanks and the next beer is on him with the $$$ saved.
