If you talking about the gray tubing with the metal clamps it looks like PEX to me. Bill

If it is the grey looking pipe laying on the yellow floor, it looks like CPVC, if so, Home Depot or Lowes. jim

ok guys, yes it is grey with what looks like aluminum or steel crimped bands on it. it is very flexible i can almost bend the hose back on itself. I guess i would try a sharkbite fittings?

edit- sorry i just realized one of the steel braided lines for the water heater is also showing in the pic, Yes i mean the one that has the 90 elbow with the fittings.

It is a type of PEX called Quest, unless you want to buy a crimper and the bands necessary, I would use fittings called Flair-It. They are very easy to use and will do the job well. Most big RV stores have them in the service department. The size is 1/2".

Looks like Quest to me. Was your trailer Built before 1990? You can still convert to pex easily. Lowes or home depot has all the parts.
Quest is gray and pex is clear or white or colored red for hot and blue for cold

Qwest was used up until 1998 on just about all TTs....now they use the white lines which is pex....no the two lines arent the same size and hence none of the fittings work either.

Thanks guys, yes it was built in 1986, is the quest bad? I dont see anything wrong with any of it , I just wanted to move the fresh water tank closer to the axles since it was right at the front of the trailer. Filling it did a number on tongue weight.

So now im a bit confused rumtan, the flair-it fittings wont work? Is that what you mean?

I deal with quest every day and it got to be the biggest screwup that ever came down the line. It gets pin holes, cracks at joints, coupling retaining rings cut into the pipe causing leaks. It crap. It has been outlawed for the use in residential and commercial use. The company that use to make it made a half hearted settlement to folks who got stuck with it. Replace with pex and you will have no problems. Good luck..
