Our MH came with Winnguard Dish on the roof but never had the need to use it. Now we are staying at a CG for a month which does not have cable and TV reception is not the greatest. I was told how to hook up our Disk Receiver but that's was almost two years ago. I need help, We are going back to the MH this week end and I would like to take the correct connection along with the receiver and know what I was doing. Please steer me in the right direction. Thanks

We had an '03 with the automatic Winegard and Dish Network, and for us it was:

- Push button on the dish controller and let satellite find signal (119 in our case - Dish uses 119 & 110 but we found everything *we* wanted to watch was on 119)

- Go into Dish menu (6-1-1 on the remote) and select "check switch"

- Run a "check switch"

- It will now say it found 119 but 110 is not available - thats OK and what it should do.

- Hit cancel enough times to get back to the main screen

- Enjoy the show...

Yours may be different.

There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

I guess its basic, but you must have an account with direct tv or dish, and the sat. box they either sell or provide. If you have a home account with either, just take one of your boxes from home.

I have a Wingard auto with Direct TV. All is wired into control box and its a matter of pressing buttons. Can't give you instructions without know how your RV is set up.
