303 works great on tires. It also works great on fiberglass (motorhome body and roof) and decals! It has no hydrocarbons.
I get mine at a local RV store. Expensive, but worth it.

Goodrich Age Master has worked well for me. I believe pneumatic aircraft de icer boots and British cars are the supreme test of a rubber preservative.

I don't understand putting stuff on tires.. all RVer's do it to their coach, but never to their daily drivers and their daily drivers sit outside just as much. Furthermore, rubber is rubber, moisture doesn't "permiate" rubber (parking on moisture barrier), don't understand it, thus why all the Home Depots, Walmarts, etc. have rubber roofs. Sun is what kills rubber and letting them set to long in one position, developing a flat spot and not driving on them making them get hard...driving on them keeps them pliable. I think the best thing for the tires, the engine, EVERYTHING is to get in your RV at least 1x a month and go for a 30 min drive. Keep the rubber pliable, get the oil in the top half of the engine, run the generator for the same purpose, crank up the a/c to circulate the oil, turn on the water heater and prevent spider build up, same goes for the fridge, turn on the dash a/c to get oil circulated, turn on the heat to prevent stagnant water rusting out heaters cores, etc, turn on lights and pull your batteries down a little bit instead of just keeping the charger on all the time, kick on the water pump and shower and all that other stuff... Treat your RV like you treat yourself... if you plop in a La-z-boy for 45 days you're not going to move very well; if you get up and use your joints you'll feel better ... of course, this is one mans opinion.

You are right on top of the situation,That is why I always maintained that some motorized Rvs are very costly to own ,cost per mile and the main reason is they sit way too much!

john b... it's not that some are very costly to own, they're all costly to own but can you put a price on happiness and what it's worth to you.. beats spending every day and night on the couch - seen some wonderful state parks, great family, etc... by the time I drive, get a hotel, eat out, etc. the motorhome cost is wash really plus I have my OWN CLEAN bathroom, my OWN CLEAN SHEETS, I can get up a get an orange while driving down the road; plus, having a motorhome is a great, yet sometimes unfortunate excuse to buy tools hehehehe..... HAPPY CAMPING!!!

Where does a person buy 303???

www.303products.com

Nice offer from 303: - for $5. (covers shipping) they will send you
a small sample box of their products.

You can find smaller bottles of 303 at Ace hardware if you llok
carefully - but better price if ordered direct.
Also - get on their e-mail list for "deals".
JC

PS: Just say "NO" to ArmorAll - does bad things to your "stuff"!
