Will I have any trouble taking a 33' Beaver over Tioga Pass in late Sept. or early Oct.? Also will I need to make reservations for campsites for that time period?

Well, there always could be an early snow storm but probably not likely. I will be going from Yosemite Valley where I have reservations starting mid-October over Tioga Pass. I have been over it the same time of year in the past and I don't anticipate any problems.

Not really correct on reservations. Check www.recreation.gov for Upper Pines campground in the valley and you'll find lots of openings beginning about October 15.

Apparently a little thing like the cost of fuel has opened things up a bit.

Your going at the right time, as no growds, once school starts.
