If I was charging my battery with my 5.5 watt solar panel, would I have to make sure the battery is disconnected from the TT then reconect if I run my genny which would run the charge from the TT to the battery and make sure the panel was disconnected or can I just leave everything hooked up.I hope this makes sense any help woud be appreciated thanks
5.5 watts can be left on continuous with no controller. 5.5 watts will never overcharge or cause too high of voltage. It is not enough to cause any trouble. Yes leave it all connected.
5.5 Watts will barely provide enough power to keep a Fully Charged Battery topped up while sitting in the bright Sun for a full 12 Hours! It's better than Nothing but please don't expect it to charge a run down Battery.
And You don't need to worry about disconnecting It while charging with a Generator or while plugged in to AC at Home or in a campground!
