Just because they use a residential address does not make it strange.
Many bus. people operate out of their homes these days or use it as an address for mail delivery. Home based enterprises are on the rise every where and there are several reason for that. I know one guy who employs 12 people out of his home. Been doing it for years and is very succesfull.
But yes, I think t h i s camper looks kind of strange... hey.....some people don't mind taking their campers off their trucks when camping. I don't do it but others do. This one DOES have an extra bedroom!
I am trying to picture anyone that would use a "queen" or "king" size bed crawling thru that little opening. Especially given the low height available in the "bedrooms". These are east-west beds also if I am not mistaken so crawling over someone else in that space would get real interesting.
Anyone that could crawl in there could probably crawl thru quite a few of the pass thru windows w/ boot and sleep in a crewcab's rear seat. No crewcab? then why the bed?
If your truck only really seats 5, then the camper should only need to sleep 5 right? If it seats 6, someone gets the front seat too.
Windshield screens, tinted side windows, 2 sleeping bags, one pass thru window w/ boot should about do it. Just make sure that they use the bathroom beforehand and don't drink in the evening. If they were in tents, you would have the same problems but less security for them. Couldn't be much worse than the dinette bed most TC's offer.
I just don't see this as a good working design. Being forced to unload it to use its capacity is also a flaw. Other units with fold outs don't need to unload and they generally have a much preferable cabover bed arrangement.
Plus with this camper you have 4 or 5 people in a non-slide camper and that would be real cozy trying to manuever around at night.
