I just bought a older class c motorhome (Coachman leprechaun 26'). The back end is a little bouncie. Will air bags fix this problem? I am thinking the springs just need a little help. I know for my Truck and cabover camper air bags made all the difference in the world with the same problem.
We have a 29foot Winnebago with the auxillary air springs. I forgot to put add air one day before driving (had a leak in the system subsequently repaired under warrantee), after driving a few miles, with lots of fighting handling issues, I topped up the air and it then drove/handled like a totally different vehicle, a pleasure to drive. IMO they are definitely worth it especially with a long rear end overhand.
We went with SuperSprings instead of air bags and got about 1.5" of lift, with no noticeable difference in the ride (tried air bags first, but had a clearance issue). We first got new shocks installed, though.
good luck!

We travel full-time in a Class C Jayco Melbourne 29D with 3 Slides. It has factory helper springs. At first the handling was ok but not great, even new with nothing in it (13,000) the front wander alot. I added air bags and this really help move some of the weight to the front. The front handling really improved, I have weight it atleast 10 times to make sure I was not over weight front to rear. Make sure you get the correct type, mine are mount on the inside rails. It cost me $300 I installed myself. I would replace the rear shocks at the same time. Michingan Truck and Spring www.truckspring.com Great people
Hope this helps
