My Gray and black tank valves are on the left rear but there is also a black tanmk isolation valve on the right "Immediately" at the tank. A nice feature I think.

Anyone hear of this?
Not sure about the cap, But I do know that you may get pulled over if something is running out.
Back in the early 80's my uncle and Aunt were on vacation, My uncle got tired of driving but not tired. My Aunt took over the driving duties and my uncle being the hyper person he was could not sit still, So he decided to clean the Bathroom Shower stall and sink. Before he finished the job a State Trooper pulled them over. I guess there was more than a frown on the face of the trooper as he handed them a ticket.
That memory makes me laugh as my uncle was always larger than life in his adventures.

Exactly!
I have the same setup on my C
The hose slides into the tube and close the door.
I have no idea why everyone recommends allowing the tanks to become almost full before dumping, I dump every other day for sure and when traveling, every day.
I do not add water, never had a problem yet!
Probably because that is what the manuals that came with all four of our MHs to date have advised. As to adding water, maybe you have been lucky - purely and simply. But solids have to float if you don't want them to stick to the bottom of the tank and harden. They are making the tanks far too shallow - just imagine an outhouse with a 50 gallon capacity that was only 8 inches deep. That is what most of us are getting now and the bottoms are getting pretty solidly coated if you don't flush the h-ll out of them. We've now taken to running a lot of water through ours - both with the black tank flush system and by having DW fill the bowl a dozen times and flushing. I have a clear section of pipe on the sewer outlet and what I see going through amazes me.
One of the worst things one can do is leave the black and grey valves open when parked for a long period. I've known people who have done this and still do it. They fashion a U-trap in the hose to prevent gases coming back from the sewer BUT, with all the fluids running off the solids are caking the bottom of their tanks.
Some use a high pressure wand and spray the daylights out of the black tank to prevent the buildup. I'm thinking of getting one as well. I have a flush king but it won't fit on my Greyhawk.
