I just found that the Festival International de Louisiane will be taking place at the same time as this Bee Social, and it's held in Lafayette LA, which is extremely close to the campground.

It's a good thing that Larry and Lori reserved the sites when they did, because this is an extremely popular festival and I'm sure the campground will be booked solid by February or March.

We have been very busy having a new deep water well put in, flushing it out etc. Just made our reservations today (8-1-08-1m) for Apr 20-24th. We are .going to miss morning coffee with NJHEART. Looking forward to being with old and new friends and meeting more new friends. Bob & Jane

Welcome, Bob & Jane, now there are 15 rigs, 29 LIVE ones!

I am going to ask the CG to hold 30 spots for us until April 1, 09. If everyone is not signed up by then, they will just have to take their chance.

Question for the group: Since everyone may not want to eat crawdads, crawfish, mudbugs. etc. I was thinking of making a reservation at one of the restaurants that played Cajun music, and then everyone could order what they want. Wednesday the 22nd?
The other option is to have a caterer come to the CG and do the mudbugs.
What say You??

Gene, this "Problem" is strictly for the Moderators. They have rules by which they run the Forum. Please come to the rally, there are no restrictions on rallies, just on where they are posted. The only rally that is restricted to "B" class MH's are the annual Class B rallies.

Ditto Gene, get your rears down there!

LA LA would not be LA LA without mudbugs and alligator! If we do the CG thing.. would they also serve alligator?

The mudbugs I can take or leave, but the alligator is delish!

Depending on what people would want, we could find out what was available. The reason I suggested the restaurant, was everyone could order what they wanted. They usually have "Al E." on the Appetizer section of the menu. I will check on a couple of places and see if they have their menu's on the web.
I don't think the cost would be that different between on site or the restaurant.

The coffee is taken care of, we only serve Community here, as I said earlier.
