We're in! Just called in the reservation for the 20th-24th as Lynne's heads up about the campground filling up necessitates action sooner rather than later.

We did a trip recently of a gathering of online gardening friends and had a good time. So now we're trying this. Trying to get a life.

I doubt it would be Kershaw. There are hundreds of Cajun bands in the area that play at the different restaurants. They are all good, or they don't get asked again.
Even if we find out who is playing now, it may be someone else in April.

Prejean's makes accommodations for groups, and they have several group menu options on their web site. It seems to have good reviews, but I can't recall if I've ever eaten there.

I've reserved a spot at the campground, but need to extend it through the weekend. I think the woman asked when I'd e arriving, but no mention was made of when I'd be leaving.

We ate lunch there the day we went to the CG. The food was good, but a little on the fancy and expensive side (I thought). It is the closest to the CG, but I thought we would check out some places in Breaux Bridge where the places tend to be a little more "down home".

The lady seems appreciative of the business the rally's providing and very accommodating to attendee's needs. I told her we'll be there for one or two nights and she's holding the 4 days till we decide. We'll of course firm up our plans asap or pay for the four days.

Hello everyone,
Well, I have just registered for the Bee Social! Yah!

I've booked from the 19th to the 26th.

If anyone else is coming from 'THE NORTH' let me know, and perhaps we can travel together. It looks like I'll be coming from Michigan through Toledo, Dayton and Cincinnati OH to Louisville Kentucky, Nashville & Memphis Tenessee, Jackson Mississippi to Hwy 10 in Baton Rouge.

Sounds like this will be a great time to be in Lafayette! hmmmm...i think I can't wait to try the mudbugs

cheers,
Malu

Check out the list of RV Camping opportunities for the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival being held on May 1,2 and 3 after the social. Some of the finest Cajun and Zydeco musicians that Southwestern Louisiana has to offer will be featured.

Laissez les bon temps rouler, y'all!
