Hi a good friend and myself are interested in purchasing a B class RV
Freedom 2 serenity and sharing total costs right from purchase to use.
We are two couples who would use the RV at different times. Does anyone know of a equitable way to share costs. Cost to purchase, days used, mileage, maintenance, etc. Has anyone devised a formula to make this as fair and equitable as possible--------advice please!

The first place to raise the question should be with your attorney.

The attorney would be retained once a draft agreement (formula)has been agreed upon!

Similiar in structure to a partnership owning and flying a small airplane. Buy-in cost, monthly payment (debt service, insurance, storage, etc) and a per-mile and per-day fee, all computed to provide maintenance, depreciation and repair. I'd google "flying partnerships" or ask someone hanging around the flight shop at the local general aviation airport.

Also, are the economics of this particular model Wide body Sprinter 3500 cab chassis, Mercedes turbo engine, transmission, worth the initial premium paid--resale value, running costs. Any owners of this unit out there?

Sorry, but it's not a class B. It's built on a cut-away, therefore it's a C.

The Freedom 11 is a Class C, not a Class B. I'm going to move this to "General" for a better response.

Thanks moderator, --does the class designation change when the body is wider---or is it based on the chassis? e.g. Free Spirit on sprinter chassis?
Sorry I'm obviously RV newbie!
