The best is "3M rubber treatment and tire dressing" It's hard to find but it is the best UV protection available.

Keeping them covered would be 100% UV protection

When you put any thing on tires it stops the oil that lubes the tires while going down the road, I have always been told use nothing but soap and water and keep them coverd when parked

Mine are lucky to see soap and water. I will just get new ones soon anyway. Three years so far and they seem to do just fine. Duro bias tires.

Guy, where does the lube oil on the tires come from? Never heard of such a thing. I have covers for mine.

I've never heard of such a thing either but tires are made up of a lot of different compounds and oils. I can see his point.
I did work in the specialty chemical industry for over 21 years and we made everything from the EPDM rubber to the chemicals that were blended into the tires. I only know about the products we made.
