Howdy folks. Well I got my first motor home yesterday. Its an oldie but goodie! Its a 1977 Landau Regency 32 foot Dodge powered. Just about everything works in this coach although it does have some wiring gremlins in the dash. I think it could use a tune up and some break work which shouldn't be too hard. It made the 75 mile trip home no problem.

My question is, is there a place I can get information regarding my coach? Like wiring schematics and such? I also have a spot just forward of the generator that seems to be missing a tank. It seems to me that is the fuel tank for the generator. Where can I get another one?

Thanks and I am excited to get out on the road with this bad boy!

This guy had one for sale (is it the same as the one you got!?) in Ok city, try to find out if he has an owners manual you can get a copy of? mcunlimited1 AT aol.com

This one is at dealer in Wyoming couldn't hurt to ask him either!

Good luck!

That looks almost exactly like my Coach except I have a rear bath and two AC units.

Not sure, but usually the generator runs off the main fuel tank, so the "missing tank" may just be an additional storage area?

A lot of the Dodge wiring and such, you should be able to find in an old Chiltons or Motors manual at a Library. Or at a place like JC Witney. The coach wiring will be a different story. Still, as others have suggested, you may be able to find other owners of this particular model, who could photocopy one for you. Post by the name of your rig, to bring it to the attention of others in the Class A group. Have you done a google search? Just some thoughts.

I thought the same thing but there are straps that appear to hold a cylindrical apparatus of some sort. I have goodled Landau but haven't found much in terms of information, just a smattering of listings and such. I'll try with a separate post of Landau owners. Thanks for the suggestion!

Maybe the generator was run on propane and that is the missing tank.

In My F-I-L's 1975 Winnebago Brave Class "A" the propane tanks are removable, 2-30 pound cylinders. Have you run the water heater, stove or fridge on gas yet? It is possible that they were removed and not updated to the new valve that was mandated a few years ago for propane bottles. Is there copper line with a gas fitting or regulator in the compartment?
