You certainly can't call it camping in one of those fancy things!! I have a hard time calling it camping in our trailer.

That's exactly why we stay out of those nasty campgrounds. We only stay in RV "resorts". Stop by for a glass of champagne sometime.

Procrastinate now . . . don't wait.

OK, here is what I posted locally," Looking to buy a Motor home or Class C or so unit...

If you have one or know of a good one,, I DO NOT want a major fixer
upper,, let me know.. and I do not need financing."

So, yea, I guess it could be interrupted to mean a bus unit,,

OH well, I can go remve the post over at the site.

She contacted you because she has a "motorhome" not a bus. the only bus conversions I know of are BlueBirds

Class A`s come in sizes of 20?ft up to 45ft. gas or DP.

A 38 foot Gulf Stream Crescendo is a motorhome just like you requested in your advertisement. It is a CAT powered "diesel pusher" with the engine in the back. The transmission is an Allison 6 speed made by Allison, neither Cummins or Cat makes transmissions. You may want to reword your ad to say you are looking for a certain length and gas or diesel. This will prevent the Prevosts, Bluebird, Tiffin Bus and other large motorhomes from being offered to you. Take your time and find the unit that you really like and will enjoy. There is no bigger mistake than purchasing something that you will not like after a few months. If you have never owned a motorhome before, I would rent one and see if a motorhome is right for you.

I really don't understand the reason for this post either? They make high end unit for those that can afford them, just like they make lower end units, something for everyone!! You certainly can't call it camping in one of those fancy things!! I have a hard time calling it camping in our trailer.

Some call it drinking in the woods when you move out of a tent to a RV.

I have a 2004 Gulfstream Crescendo also, however it is only the 36' model but uses all the same equipment as the 38'.
The engine is a 330HP Cat, 6 speed Allison Tranny. All equipment inside is the same. CAT does not supply their own transmission on the Freightliner Chassis.
