Favre said; "he doesn't want to hold a clipboard, on the sidelines for $12 Million dollars." Well, that's the way it is, until another team buys-out his GB contract.

LOL @ you. In Favre's prime, the Cowboys had a guy named Troy Aikman. You might be interested to see how they faired in head-to-head games, or in their overall accomplishments. I think most Cowboys fans will take Aikman over Favre. It's not a disparagement to Favre, it's a compliment to Aikman.

I'm sorry to make the discussion so *murky* by using *facts* and *statistics*. It's not fair or nice.

Like I said earlier, I'm not trying to hijack this thread. I didn't bring up Tony Romo - who, by the way, is a Favre fan himself. Tony has started one year in the NFL. Brett didn't win a playoff game until his third season.

Sorry to break it to you.

Really? The one time they played against each other the Cowboys wiped out the Packers and Brett had his worst game ever at texas Stadium, and that's saying something. Romo outplayed him by a long shot.

Get real! One game, and you claim Romo is a Superbowl Champ? LMAO! Romo is a poser. Not even worthy in this Favre conversation. He's punk trash, but a pretty good golfer I admit, regardless. His beginner's luck has been because of outstanding receivers and backs. Nothing more. When did Romo win an NFL playoff game?? Even one?

Cowboys "homers," only wish Favre had of played for Dallas, in his prime.

No one mentioned Super Bowl did they? Why in the world would you call him punk trash? Has he done a single thing on or off the field to deserve that label? He plays hard, he plays well and he plays like he enjoys the game.

Outstanding receivers? We had T.O. and a bunch of second stringers last year. Someone has to get the ball to T.O. it doesn't just magically appear in his hands. Romo set or tied team records for TD's, yards, yards per attempt and wins last year. Remember his unbelievable scramble against the Rams?
You are a Cowboy hater and always have been from posts I've read from you over the last few years. He has only started a season and a half and you rip on him for not yet winning a playoff game. I remember in the Giants game a drop and a give up on a route by one of the second string receivers was the only thing that kept the Cowboys from winning that game.

LOL dont confuse him with the statistics. Aikman and the Cowboys OWNED Favre and the Packers. In 7 of 8 times they played each other Aikman absolutely killed him statistically while going 7 and 1. Favre lost twice to Jason Garrett lol. The Packers had some good teams those years too. Favre just couldn't get it done.

When Favre played Romo, who looked like the star struck kid playing his hero, Favre or Romo? My money goes to Favre who was something like 5 of 14 with 2 ints. LOL You could always count on Favre to throw a killer int when the chips were down, just like he did in the NFC chamionship last year.

I really like On The Record with Greta on FOX and she is a true Packer fan but her admiration for Favre has gone a bit far IMO. Isn't he the QB that wept and wept when saying goodbye...helllo???

I'll take Aikmans 3 Super Bowl titles over Bretts 1 any day. The only reason Brett even won one was that the Cowboys had an off year.

None of Troys accomplishments are tarnished by drug addiction. All of Favre recors should have asterisks by them, just like Barry Bonds one of those MLB playes you hate so much.

Not a fan of either Dallas Chain gang or the Packers.
But Bret always made the game exciting even when the Pack was loosing.

I know the Raiders could always use some QB help. Wonder how Bret would look in Silver and Black?
