We spent 4th of July weekend there and had a wonderful time. The campsites are all very separated from each other by the brush and nicely spaced out. Lots of the sites were right on the lake so you could swim, boat and jetski right from your site. I would highly recommend getting reservations if you plan to be there. I would also recommend driving to the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg that is about an hour away. The tour is amazingly interesting and the smell is the best...as you can imagine.
Thanks so much!! With gas prices as they are, it's great to know I can visit a place like that so close to home. Loved the pics that will make it easy to pick out a campsite.
