I am trying to find a camera that I can snake down the toilet to see the inside of the black tank. I want it to be attached to a hose so I can spray when I see something stuck to the side of the tank.
I believe that if everything in the tank can be sprayed to the bottom of the tank and out the exit hole, it can then be washed out by the contents of the gray tank. I've found that multiple flushes do not completely clean a tank. I always find more paper in the tank no matter how much I flush.
I don't think it's necessary to use everytime we camp, but I do believe that using something like this once in a while would go a long way in keeping the tank clean and everything functioning properly.
Does anyone know of anything like this? Thanks in advance for your help.

I need a sewer pipe inspection and the local plumbers want like $500 minimum.
Bought this one on sale with coupon for like $350 at http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93765
The camera is 3/4" dia and helped me spot the re-bar, while drilling 1" holes in the concrete as well. The few inches tip is so flexible, that goes thru the toilet P-trap.
Why would I need it for my RV tank will remain mystery to me.

2 different, simple, solutions.
1. Use different paper.
2. Put no paper in the black tank.
Problem solved @ no cost.

It puts thing into perspective.....some things are much more important to some people than others. A camera in my black tank is pretty far down on my list...heck, I can't even remember to look at my backup camera

I'm not sure I understand why you need a black tank that clean.

Now that would be a real "backup camera" or maybe a "rear view" camera depending on how you used it.
