Have been using good bones and filling and freezing with peanut butter in them. This works well for Willow to chew, but I am concerned about all this peanut butter she is eating. Has anyone tried mixing with oat bran or something and then freezing the mixture? Just a thought.
Actually, using a non raw bone can break their teeth!
Have you thought of trying a rubber toy called a Kong? They are great, you fill them up with treats and place either peanut butter-I use low fat, or fat free cream cheese...freeze overnight...and badabing! Yummy treat for hours of fun!

I buy hollow, sterilized bones from Petsmart for my dogs. When we leave, they each get one stuffed with a half slice of cheese.
I personally wouldn't give my dogs bones that have been frozen numerous times. I believe the repeated freezing may have a tendency to make them splinter. As Pixies Bite said, kongs would be a better choice for a frozen treat. You can stuff them with numerous different concotions. You could mix the peanut butter with something like plain, non-fat yogurt, nonfat cottage cheese or mashed bananas. I'd be leery of adding bran. Some dogs handle large amounts of fiber okay, others don't.

We give our dogs (Standard Poodles) a sterilized bone with a 1" piece of cheese in it every night. About 9:00PM they get the bones out and lay on the floor looking at us with their paws together and the bones in front of them and stare at us until someone moves. I buy the big cheddar blocks at Sams Club.
