If you do 'not' have the cars manual how do you know which fuse to pull and of course if you even have to pull it? (other than driving it and finding a dead battery of course) Fuse box is not marked.

Go to the manufacturer's website. I know Jeep has Owner's Manuals available for download, maybe others do to.
Go to the dealer's parts department, if they can't order the manual, they will know where to get one.
If your ignition switch has an "OFF, but steering not locked" position, you probably don't need to remove any fuse.
If you give the make, model, and year of the vehicle you are talking about, perhaps somebody else who has the exact same thing can answer your question.

I wouldn't trust just calling a dealer.

I would see if I could find someone or a dealer with the same model, engine and transmission you have and ask to look at that owners manual.

You could call the manufacturer and see if they have an owner's manual you could obtain......

Are you still messing with pulling that Tracker? If so most of them you can turn the key to the "on" or "run" position and unlock the colum then turn the key back to "off" position but leave the key in the ignition. The coulum should not relock untill the key is removed from the switch. Just try it once while the car is in your drive way...turn the wheel back and forth and make shure it does not lock up untill the key is pulled out. I have had a few Suzuki cars (a Tracker was made by Suzuki) that were this way. I still pull my Suzuki Samurai with the key off but still in the switch and have never had a dead battery. Never had a need to pull the fuse.

We towed our '92 Tracker for years. Never pulled a fuse.

We hooked it up, put tranny in park, turned the key all the way off, put the transfer case in neutral and took off.

Never had a problem, but our odo shows many, many miles.

Buying a used toad comes with it's own set of problems for the first time toad owner. Without the manual your sol.

Trust me if I knew for sure about towing a toad full time, there would be a brand spankin new HHR behind my MH!

I spend hours looking this stuff up before I ask on the forum.
Chevy site sends you to Covette clubs for info on manuals.
Ya like I'd be contacting 'them' about a Tracker!!
Purchase a manual sites/ebay are 'all' fake phishing.

Dealership put it in the off position pulled on the steering column and the tires did move, only thing is when you made your first turn towing, the steering wheel did lock, only I didn't feel it.

So now I'm going to try access and read that many of you pull the fuses. No manual - don't know which one to pull.
Lift off for me is Thursday and dang gummit that Tracker is going to follow the MH one way or another I don't care if it's sideways!
