Bought my Lance wired for solar power then installed an 85 watt panel with a Morningstar controller. Now the battery is always charged when I'm ready to use the camper. When using the camper the battery is generally recharged by noon after the previous evenings discharge.
Spent 87 days last winter exploring the Gulf coast only ran my 1000 watt Yamaha generator two evenings. Would rather do without the generator than the solar system.
Remote camping without motor noise however low is priceless. Plus it's rather hard to do these days.

For a pop-up camper, the fact that it has windows on both sides and that they are at a height that allows excellent viewing of the outdoors. And, call me nuts, the aesthetics of it never stop appealing to me. Even the quirky 2nd set of Chevy taillights on the back which make the Blazer's taillights look redundant.
This is mine, they're rare and I'm trying to document every one still in existence. Seen one? PM me with a location, contact info, and or photo.

I can't help agree with John H, but there are a couple of things that I have a special fondness for:
My solar power system that let's me camp quietly, with power, just about anywhere for as long as I like.
My Tri-metric battery monitor that tells me, whenever I'm interested (about 10 times a day), exactly what my electrical system is doing.
I can't help it. I'm just a techy in the wilderness.

Lots of windows for visibility in all directions. It's a little bit of a disadvantage when trying to keep warm in winter, but I'll take the trade-off.

I like the large windows looking out from our dinette. It gives us a great view of the outdoors, even on cool rainy days.
