I disagree with number one. That could be any sport. There can be a last minute turnaround in any of them. The underdog can suddenly turn things around and win. When that happens, they win and are the leader. You never know the final score until the game is over.

He said the score, not the FINAL score. Watch any base ball game - you know the score and who's leading at the end of each inning.

A judges scoring of the bout is kept confidential, to not discourage either opponent, keeping it very fair. The points announced is pure speculation by the ESPN folks.
