Alltel has an expanded North America plan that the map shows parts of the Atlantic Provinces has service with no roaming or LD charges. I'm thinking of changing my plan before we head in that direction. Looking for any experiences of Alltel customers who have used their Alltel service in that area. How good was the coverage? I am extremely satisfied with their coverage throughout the US, but haven't tried from across the border.
I have the Alltel 450 North American plan. Can't tell you about Canada. Did use mine down the west coast of Mexico and back up to Texas. It worked in a lot of places. No additional charges.
