WE BOUGHT OUR NEW TT ON MAY 15TH IT'S A KEYSTONE 245 RB AND WE WENT ON ONE CAMPOUT AND THE AWNING BROKE AND THE FRESH WATER TANK HAD A LEAK AND THE GRAY WATER HAD A HUGE LEAK AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS THE PROBLEM THEY FOUGHT WITH KEYSTONE OVER THE PRICE THEY'D PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THIS TANK. FINALLY CAME TO A MEETING OF THE MINDS AND KEYSTONE SENT OUT THE NEW TANK WHICH OF COURSE DOESN'T FIT. NOW THEY SAY IT'LL BE ANOTHER TWO WEEKS OR MORE TO GET THE TT BACK......WELL WE HAVE A CAMP OUT THE 20TH OF THIS MO. WE'VE BEEN WAITING TO GO TO FOR OVER A YEAR. WHAT WOULD YOU DO??????

I guess you will have to reschedule the campout. Sucks, but that seems to be the way it works with warranty work. That's why anything small that went wrong with my camper during the warranty, was fixed by myself. Too bad your fixes are so big.

Do they have another trailer like yours on the lot that they could switch the gray tank out of?

What kind of leak do you have? Is it a crack in the side? I've read a post where someone repaired theirs with Eternabond and it held.

If your camping with hookups you wont need the fresh water tank. With all the aggravation you're going through with this NEW unit see if the dealer will give/loan you a big blue tote to continuously drain the leaky grey water tank into.PS,I WOULD BE SCREAMING TOO.

I don’t think any RV Dealer gives out loaners do they?

If I were you I would call Keystone direct and explain your problem but being in California your parts will be coming out of the western plant and I’m not sure where they are. Shipping might be what is holding things up.

But if you have not talked with Keystone directly, then that is what I would do. You might have better luck getting the part expedited as they will be less likely to say no to the customer.

But remember be nice and tell them how much you are looking forward to having them work this out for you.

Good luck Don
