Well here it goes ,the most stuid guestion of all times for some of you but where and how do you get those nice maps for your signature that show where you've been. I really want one but cant seem to find any treads or searches that turn them up.
Help! At least I was brave enough to ask

Go to www.epgsoft/VisitedStatesMap/
Select the states you have visited
Set the map size to small to fit forum limits
Set the file format to GIF or JPEG (JPEG looks better)
Create the map
Once it appears, save it by right clicking on it and selecting Save Picture as (you name it)

To add the map to your sig:
Go to the RV.net forum
login if you aren't all ready
Click on My forums at the top of page
Click on my preferences
Go tot he line titled Signature Picture and clock on Browse
Select the file containing the map that you saved
click on Submit Changes at the bottom of the page
That should be it - now everyone can see where you have visited.

See ya' down the road!

Use the same procedure on that website to save a Canadian Provinces map. You can then use something like "Paint" to paste the two maps together. Then you can wonder why you missed a particular state surrounded by ones you have visited.

LOL! How the heck do you miss KS and AR? Did you fly your RV over?

Hogwyld, Nope, I just didn't stay the night in Kansas on the way from Missouri to Oklahoma. I just plain missed Arkansas and Iowa. Iowa because of this year's flooding and Arkansas just because.

Unfortuneatly the maps don't have a caption like "these are the states I've driven through" or "these are the states that I've camped in". Ours is the latter.

Procrastinate now . . . don't wait.
