Anybody just leave their TT hitched up to their TV for an overnight stay at a campground on their way to their final destination?

I level the trailer and leave it hook up to the truck for the night.

If it's just an "overnighter," then yes I too leave it hooked up. Any more than a day I will unhitch the trailer. This way, in the event of some type of emergency where we might have to "get outa Dodge," we don't have the trailer and gear outside of the trailer to worry about.
"Get outa Dodge" meaning like a flash flood or forest fire that suddenly snuck up on us. You can drive a heck of a lot faster down mountain roads without the trailer hitched up. God forbid that ever happens to us or anyone else. Camping is suppossed to be fun and void of "emergencies."

If I am staying put I often remain hitched. I drop a block and crank the weight off the truck and go about the usual set up. Never thought to much about emergencies until this past weekend when the worst flu experience of my life hit in the middle of the night. I didn't think about it to long before I decided I didn't have a clue where a hospital was if I did decide I had to go and it would be a 911 call. Luckily everything passed on in 6 LONG hours.
I will probably continue to not unhook, however I am also usually surrounded by long time campground friends.

So far I have done both stayed hitched and unhitched.
I don't like getting up early and hitching up in the dark.
I have stayed hooked more than unhooked.

If an overnighter we almost always stay hitched unless we have to go to the store. Just lower the tongue jack to stabilize things. If I have the energy I will drop the rear jacks but often don't even bother to do that.

I usually stay hitched after leveling and pulling the umbilical cord. Once or twice I have unhitched to drive to a restaurant.

If we are just stopping for the night and not planning on doing any exploring that evening with the TV, then we always leave the TT hitched. I usually have to back the truck up onto a layer of Lynx Levelers to get the TT level, but that's it. Nothing else is undone. Especially true for overnighters at Wally World, etc.

For a single overnight, I won't unhitch unless it is necessary to get the trailer properly level.
