Also Audubon Point in Southaven, MS. which is on the south side of Memphis at the State line. New park and nice. More stuff for kids to do at Audubon Point. At Tom Sawyer you can sit outside and watch the barges on the river.

We are staying at the Memphis AgriCenter next week. Have never stayed there before, so it will be a new experience for us. It is east of the city of Memphis itself.

Agricenter is a nice campground, fairly new so no large trees. Does not have pool, playground etc., but is close to a lot of eating places.

I second Audubon Point. It's right off I-55, about 5 miles south of Memphis, but in Mississippi. New, absolutely clean, huge paved sites, cable and wi-fi, the largest and cleanest shower/restrooms you'll ever see. We've stayed here several times.
