Go shopping and check out the set ups and then make your personal decision.
You are getting bias here on the subject.
Just a personal preference, but you don't have to be a contorsionist to use my walk in shower. It is ery roomy for a 29 footer.
Don't get something becasue someone said so and find out later it is not the best for you personally. Having kids makes a difference also concerning multiple use.
I agree that everyone's personal needs will be different, I think a bit of feedback on this from those with experience is still valuable. We were looking at trailers this past weekend and had the same question. Sure we sat on the toilet and stood in the shower etc. but some of the potential problems (benefits) aren't always obvious. Always nice to see what others have had real life issues with or conversely why they like the layout.
We had that set up in our old camper and hated it. When you take others with you camping they wash there hands etc basicly in your bedroom. Look @ the 2008 Keystone Challenger 34SAQ, it has a seperatre bathroom with two doors, plenty of room, and even a door to the bedroom seperating yourself from the hallway and bathroom.
Makes no difference to me, actually kind of handy when I get up in the middle of the night for a potty run to grab a sip of water before hitting the bed again.

"A bad day camping is better than a good day at work!"
Ours is in the bedroom, along with the shower. The toilet is in a 'closet' type of room, and it is sorta small - but we live with it.
We like the lay out of our trailer and it works for us!

We have a 24ft with "tub" (2ft X 3ft "tub") and toilet in a closet, sink in the bedroom. Regularly have 4 adults, or 3 adults and 2 grand kids in trailer. It's not convenient, but the trade-off is more room in living area for length of trailer. I consider it worth it; how much time do you actually spend in the bedroom/bathroom/sink area compared to time in living area.
In a fifth wheel, the sink in the bedroom comes as a part of the pass-through bathroom. We find it makes for a much roomier bathroom since it combines the hallway and the bathroom. When you have a separate bathroom you still have to have a hallway up to the bedroom.
With the toilet in the "closet" as some folks have described, it keeps the oders out of the bathroom. We have no troubles using the "closet" toilet and like the pass-through bathroom. It's also nice to be able to roll out of bed and splash water on your face.
One last plus: Is there anything better than lounging in bed in the morning, cup of coffee in hand, sports center on the television, and the wife in the shower in plain view. Life just doesn't get any better than that!
We prefer ours like that....that way if he is using the toilet, I can still use the sink and mirror for getting ready....and we have no problem with our toilet room...and we aren't little people.

This is exactly why we chose our floor plan we now have! Hate the sink in the bedroom. With that floor plan, forget about sleeping later than your mate. You can't brush your teeth without waking up the other person. Or take your shower! Besides privacy suffers too with a floor plan like that.
We have a private bathroom now and love it.
