As you may have seen, many floorplans of fivers have the bathroom sink in the bedroom.
For those of you that have this floorplan, do you find it an advantage ? Do you find it a problem ?
I am just trying to weigh the pluses and or minuses on this. Thanks in advance for any input, regards, bob

We haven't had an issue with the sink near/in the bedroom. I guess if you rise or go to bed at different times it would be an issue. I've had rigs with both set-ups, and I prefer to have the space of the sink area not crammed into a room or hallway.

Don't like that layout? Look around for alternatives. Our layout has a bathroom sink in both the toilet room AND the bedroom. Works well for us.......

We have the sink and shower in the bedroom and the toilet in a Closet. We hate it, if its chilly warming up the whole bedroom area for a shower is a pain, also if your more than 100 pounds and tall going into the closet where the toilet is becomes quite confining, only way to do it is leave the door open or sit with the knee's around the neck (we are 6'0 and 5'9 tall) also check the depth of the sink, mine is so shallow I can't get my face over it to wash it without getting water all over the floor. Our next one will be all in one room.

I know you asked about the sink, but that usually means the toilet is in a closet, have you ever sat on that toilet and pretended to do your thing! NO WAY! It is a cracker jack box.

No trouble with us!
During the SoCa. fires we had all SEVEN of us in the 5er.
Worked OK and no one had bad breath or went unshaven.
I really don't care too much about the lay-out, I just LOVE to get out and camp!!!

if you have 3 daughters it might be a good idea. other than that seems like a dumb idea to me. something else to service/winterize/go wrong and take up valuable space.

We do prefer to have the toilet and the sink/shower area separate. So both of us can use either, without one person tying up both, at the same time.

Our trailer is not that large at 33 feet, with BR slide out. And we found that a separate full bath gave the illusion of much more closed in feeling in the BR. So we prefer the openess of the split bath. For some, a downside is the center aisle, maybe less private in the BR than the side aisle. But not a problem for our lifestyle.

I'm with vwsportbug. It works really great for us but then we have one in the toilet and one in the bedroom. My MIL travels with us so it really works out well for us.

GR

Go shopping and check out the set ups and then make your personal decision.

You are getting bias here on the subject.

Just a personal preference, but you don't have to be a contorsionist to use my walk in shower. It is ery roomy for a 29 footer.

Don't get something becasue someone said so and find out later it is not the best for you personally. Having kids makes a difference also concerning multiple use.
