Having a strange problem here. Occassionaly (getting to be frequently) my living room slides stops prematurely when bringing the slides in. I then must wait a few seconds and push the button briefly to put the slides out before going back to pulling them in. Sometimes I need to do this several times before they are all the way in. Anyone else experience this? BTW - it is a Raptor.

should be a loose connection on the self resetting C/B located in the battery box. tug gently on the wires and you will be able to tell if they are loose.

Same problem.
Obviously check your hydrolic fluid level.
We had a leak in the hose to the living area slide repaired (new hose) but it still does it.
Does your landing gear work without stopping? Mine is unaffected, but I think they are on the same motor for the hydrolics??
Right now we are putting up with it. It will "pause" for about 10-11 seconds before restarting.
I will be watching to see if any other answers develop.

Many manf. use a single 12v breaker to the slide rooms. Many of these breakers are 40 - 50 amp breakers, with hydraulic slide motors pulling upwards of 75 - 80 amps at times. As they get worn with more use they become weak.
Some manf. have suggested installing a secondary, like size breaker next to the first one and wiring as such so the power goes through both breakers, but yet still allows for protection. This makes it so enough power is supplied through the breaker pair to run the rooms.
A way to check it is: to bypass the breaker just temporarily, test run the slides, if the problem is cured, the issue is the breaker. If it is not cured, it is another issue all together.

Same problem here and it affects both my slides and landing gear. I have to wait about 10 seconds and then I hear an audible click near my battery box and I can run the hydraulics for a few seconds before it stops again. It takes me about 5-6 cycles to raise my landing hear and about 3 cycles to move my slides. The problem seems to be getting worse and the hydraulics run for less time before cutting out.
I'll check for loose wiring tonight and see what I find.

I think JRCT is probably correct. Over on the Montana/Mountaineer
website that breaker is a pretty common issue.
In fact I need to replace mine.

JRCT,
Would one wire the pair of breakers in parallel? Two 50 amp breakers? Thanks for the suggestion.
David.
