I hung four of those cup holder screws on a brace on the ceiling of the PU. I hang stuff like wet towels (if it's raining outside), the fly swatter, a battery-powered lantern, a light jacket, and even a bed sheet will hang from them for some extra privacy if someone needs it.

Oh yeah, I thought of another one that's really handy. In fact, I might have seen it on this forum awhile ago.

Wrap some duct tape sticky side out around the kids' hands. They have a really good time nailing bugs that are on the tenting and ceiling inside the camper. The bugs don't have a chance with that sticky stuff!

We keep a set of "all of life's necessities" in our pup at all times....shampoo/conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, a toothbrush for everyone, deodorant, hair things, hair dryer, etc. We keep it all in a plastic tool box with a tray thing that lifts out. We don't have to pack the same things over and over again. Just grab our clothes and go! That's been a nice time saver for us.

I also keep the pup stocked at all times. When we return from a trip, the first thing I do is wash all the linens and put them back, and re-stock things like paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex, soap, hand sanitizer, dry goods (coffee, tea, dog food, etc.). So the only thing we have to buy and pack before we leave are perishables. It makes taking off on a moment's notice veeeeery easy!

Being that I travel extensively with my job and stay in motels, I nab a few extra items from the maid's cart. Items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. They are individual sizes, small enough to use for long weekend outings and we don't have big bottles taking up space in the shower. The bars of soap are good because we use them up during the trip and don't have to worry about storing big sticky, gushy bars when we return home.

We have a small set of plastic drawers which we store inside, then load in the van or PUP when ready to leave. It holds things like rubber bands, cards, paperclips, sunscreen, bug repellent, toiletries etc. We also keep a couple of small plastic storage boxes full of all the electronics, spare batteries etc. Since many of the items in these need not to be stored at 120 degrees, we don't leave them in the PUP, but store them in a closet in the house. When it's time to go, we just load them up and head out.

The best thing we did is buy a table top water cooler, kept it under the awning on our 6ft. folding table. I had a rubber maid drawer with throw away cups in it along with crystal light single packs of ice tea, lemonade along with the rest of there favorite mixes. We had a never end of cold water or juice mixes. Kept them from running in and out. We also had a small beer fridge sitting on the table for all drinks, kept mom from running in and out, lol.

Nathmich,

You mentioned attaching cup holder screw to your por up roof.

How did you do that? I was thinking that it would be great to have a half dozen hooks along the sides of the camper front and back that I could hang the reusable grocery bags from. this would be great for keeping clothes and toys in as well as dirty laundry.

By the way our Pup has a shower that does not work. We store tarps in it until we get there and put them over the bunk ends, then we fill it up with dirty clothes while camping.

The old timers to this forum already know that my best tip is never leave home without the wine bottle opener

That single item is more important than the glasses, cutting board, knife, cheese, fruits etc.

Over the years I've come to a realization.
People are a lot like slinky's...not good for much, but it puts a smile on your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
