my new tent has a small leak at the zipper area . anyone know how to stop it besides covering it with a tarp..thanks

The better tents I owned had a rain fly built into the zipper area. You might try some wax, or some canvas sealant if it's coming through the stitches.

The title of your post sure is an attention getter.

Is it a leak in a zipper on the tent or the rainfly? If it's the rainfly I'd return the tent. On the tent you could try a seam sealer.
