Tomorrow I may end up buying a Ford F450. Here are details: Dark Pearl Blue with a very light interior they call Camel Leather F450 4x2, Lariat, tailgate step, chrome side steps, sun/moon roof, power sliding rear window etc....the MSRP is $54,365 with taxes etc and trading my 2001 Silverado 1500 I end up with a total cash sale of $38,389 my per a phone call from the dealer a few minutes ago. I plan on asking for another $2,000 off so we will see what the final number really is....I will keep you informed.
Meant to post this under tow vehicles and not under fifth wheels..oops

Not a bad deal
I would think you could do better right now since big trucks aren't selling real well.
Go after them a little harder

You should be able to get a better deal now, at least employee pricing. I used the X Plan and got about 5k off from incentives which was about 8-9k off MSRP, and this was in December. You should be able to do beter now.

F450 is very nice. I would have bought one but I heard from others about the gas mileage and other problrms with the 08's. I opted for a fully loaded F-350 Dually Lariat with Navigation. It to has the camel leather captain chairs. Wor to the wise, Carry lots of leather cleaner as this color shows every little spec of dirt. Carry a small bottle of cologne for the really tuf spots as well. Belive me it works and it attracts the ladies to. Haahahahahh!!! Anyhow, enjoy the new truck

You should get a heck of a deal, I don't think they are moving much at all. I’ve driven by the same two that has been on the same lot for over a year now.
They've moved them from the front to the rear lot in the last couple of months. All the small cars are out front now.

The thing to remember here is while he is looking at a big vehicle that is not selling well. He is also trying to trade in a vehicle that is not selling well. So he will take it in the shorts a bit on the trade. Some dealers in my area are not interested in taking trucks in on trade. The used truck market is in the toilet.

When I bought my 350 I got over $10,000. of list before the trade, it had a list of 45,000. +. I would think you should be able to get 11 or 12,000. of list. In that case you are not getting much for your trade.
