After full-timing 3 years in a smallish no-slide Southwind 30', we have narrowed down our preferences for our next home.

Our real world preferences:
~ Used - maybe up to $70k
~ Maximum length = 36' and preferably shorter (32-33 = perfect - we winter in Mexico)
~ As much under 12' high as possible (see Mexico above!)
~ 1 slide minimum
~ 2 sofas instead of sofa and recliner
~ Kitchen and sofa in slide - not sofa/dinette
~ Bench/booth dinette with storage under settees
~ All-in-one bathroom - no separate shower or toilet "room"
~ Some kind of decent wardrobe / clothes storage
~ New/big enough for Allison (GM) or Torqshift (Ford) tranny or diesel w/Allison
~ Lots of storage underneath (don't care so much about generator size, would rather have more storage and smaller genset)

Any suggestions? Even if not all preferences are met, please pass along all ideas.

The only model meeting our needs that we are aware of is a National Surfside in about a 35' or bigger. Some of the smaller Damon Daybreak models have the 2 sofas and bath but not kitchen/sofa slide. Older Safari Sahara has sofa/kitchen slide and all-in-one bath but not two sofas.

Are we missing something or are our sights set too high?

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a 2 sofa, side isle in a 36' or shorter MH - of any kind, but you might. The 2 sofa era just started a few years ago, for the most part, and getting a 2 sofa with the kitchen slide is going to be even harder to find.

Here is one that meets some of your goals, but it's a split bath 1 sofa model. Oops, it doesn't have a booth either, but that would be easy to install.

There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

I think the DayBreak meets your guidelines to a T. In my humble opinion, I would much rather have the couch and dinette slide in and out than the kitchen. If there were ever a problem with the connections, gas and electric, to me it is much easier to deal with a break in the electrical than a break in the gas lines.

Both our DSDP's have had galley slides, never had any problems with any of the utility lines in them and no leaks in the drain lines either. I wouldn't let that stop me from getting another galley slide either.

I think that the two sofas will be the killer in your deal.

Thanks for the responses. The Damon Daybreak we looked at was not a heavy enough frame to have the Allison tranny. Any idea how to look up which tranny comes in which model. The manufacturer websites don't go into that detail too much.
Thanks
