I did not ask him about any of the problems, I just wanted to call him and let him know I got my trailer back and I was very happy with how is people fixed my trailer and handled my warranty work and got my trailer back to me in a timely manner. Now I admit he did not sound up beat, he sounded very down, BUT I can tell you that the WW phone system is working and Mark is answering his phone.

So what is Marks extension???? Id like to see if I could speak with him.

so is it a matter of "when" not "if" we are going to have problems with our WW? We have an '04 FS2600 and have not had any problems with it. We just got back from a 2400 mile trip and while we had a few minor things happen, nothing major. The more I read these posts, the more I worry about the quality of my trailer.

will still be around for about 6 more weeks.
If they go out of buisness, what will happen to the trailers that the dealers still have on their lots? Would we be able to buy them for half price or something? Might be worth looking into. I had one on order and canceled my order but the dealer I ordered from has the same unit I ordered but with different options. If the price was low enough I would consider buying it and getting an extended warranty.

I would love to see the percentage of people that actually had problems. I would bet that it is very low (in the lower half of all trailer brands). I really doubt that you are going to start having problems.
What were your minor problems during your long trip?
I am about to buy an FS2600. I think it is a great size and a great design. The used ones certainly have held their value well.

It's far from scientific, but the failure rate within my circle of friends has been alarmingly high. Off the top of my head, I can think of three friends (plus myself) with failures ranging from "serious" to "catastrophic". Mine and one other (Quadhauler) was on an '04 FS2600. I think Buford's is the same style, but larger (FS2800?). There's one more if you count Motoboot's!
I haven't seen any similar problems with other trailer brands since the Gearbox delamination four years or so ago.
My trailer is in the shop again today re-repairing the brake wiring that WW installed incorrectly when they replaced my axles. They reimbursed me for the first rewire. I'm on my own for this one.
We still love this trailer. I'll do what I have to to keep it running. Last night I repaired the wiring to the XM receiver and the outdoor speakers (WW snipped all the old wiring when they replaced the stereo).
I'm glad to hear yours is holding together well. Keep enjoying it!!!

I know one way for WW to make a quick influx of cash. Sell repair manuals with full schematics for each model. I'd buy one to match my unit!

I was on the phone with Missy at McMahon's RV in SoCal yesterday and she told me that she had received a fax from citizen (Not sure of the complete name) which is a leading lender in rv loans. The fax advised her that they would no longer be offering finacing on Warrior products. It went on to explain why...
1- They are going out of business
2- resale value is expected to plumet

All rv value's are dropping, have you read the trader lately? I'd blame it on the economy. I'm not at all saying ww's may not drop more, but ww does have some floorplans & models other mfg's don't.
Obviously what you posted does make some sense, from a banks point of view.
I expect boat prices to plummet also once the summer is over.

The minor problems included some of the wood separating where the beds are and the queen bed in back won't stay up during transit. It keeps falling down. Like I said, minor problems.
We have been really happy with the FS2600. After a three week, 2400 mile roadtrip with the family including four kids and one of their friends, I was really pleased with the way it performed. You can sleep an army in there and haul everything you need with ease. In hindsight, I might have looked a little closer at the superlites, but I'm glad I bought what I did.
