Within the last 3 weeks I have had blowouts on 4 Nankang tires on my 2005 KZ 2505 Frontier. Has anyone else had recent success from KZ replacing or covering the costs of these defective tires? They are about 3 years old and have about 8,000 miles. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Nankang has on occasion paid for repair and replaced tires. They don't need anymore bad press about their cheap tires! KZ could care less, they already have your money in their pockets. I can't understand why RV manufactured cheap out and go with inferior tires, saving at most $200.00 per trailer, and infuriating their poor customers forever!
P.S., I think at 3 years and 8000 miles you are the new "longest actual use of a Nankang tire" winner!
I have you beat - 3 years and about 10,000 miles on my Nankangs. I just discovered when I went to dump the tanks I had severe belt seperation on one of the tires. Closer inspection revealed seperation on the other drivers side tire. Checking the other side I found one of those had seperation worse than the others and appears ready to pop. Luckily I found a tire dealer in town with 4 Goodyear Marathons in stock. If you are running Nankangs I would replace them soon.
Mankang tires are just the cheapest******out there. My old company carried them for the folks who would buy on price alone.
Hey, that's great,I can type in a questionable word and the forum removes it for me!
