I feel so much safer behind the solid 2" of styrofoam that make up the sturdy walls of my trailer.

That's exactly why we should be able to carry firearms in parks...so we can fight back!

Problem bears are almost always caused by problem campers: those who don't follow the rules about securing their food at their camps, or worse, those who purposely feed and approach bears. It is unfortunate that these conflicts occur. The bear is not really to blame, but often the bear must be destroyed.

Let's all help keep our wild animals wild!

Yeah, but in this case they said that the camper followed the food storage rules.

Hey, when you camp where there are bears...there is always the chance of this happening.

Scott,
Camping in a hard sided RV is perfectly safe as long as you follow some common sense rules. Always park next to someone that is tent camping. Better yet, camp inside the National Park. Most bears can't afford the entrance fee. Finally, if you insist on hiking in bear country, always go with someone that runs slower than you.
