Everytime the humidity went up mosture would form on my plastic "Quick cool" vent cover and drip to the floor. I got busy a few weeks ago and removed the cover about 6 screws two under little plastic covers.(used steak knife tip to pop off) I found a couple of typical rv issues. One, the plastic cover does have a foam gasket around the edge of the air discharge but its too thin to seal to the bottom of the A/c unit so the cold air could flow into the return between the plastic and the unit. Added 1/4" foam sealaround edge of direct vent(quick cool) vent. then I looked at how the ducts took off from the a/c unit. found the tape used was quickly done and allowed air to bypass the ductwork and go right into the attic area. with the magic of duct tape stopped that problem. While doing this I found they used a thin aluminum baffle to prevent cold discharge air from getting into the return air side but again the tape seal had failed allowing cold air to bypass into the return. More duct tape.
Now all cold air goes to the coach air vents. All the air that was warm is now cooled. Cold air does not flow behind the plastic "Quick vent" cover and does not drip, as of yet! This might be a dew check item, and a do fix for some.
Don't you just love to re-do the items that should have been done right by he factory? I think if your IQ is over 70, you are over qualified to work in the RV industry.

that duct tape... did you use foil tape ? you realize that the million and one uses gray plastic product commonly referred to as duct tape while it may be true that it is good for a million and one uses, none of those uses are ducting

That sounds like the exact same issues I had with mine. Plus the freeze coil was left dangling loose. I used foam backed aluminum tape to seal the areas in mine that should have been sealed from the factory. I also found that the ducts were partially blocked by debris left in them when they whittled them out.
We haven't had a dripping problem since I fixed it so maybe you'll have the same luck.
