As of about 10:30 this morning, one station up the road had dropped a penny (on gas). The rest hadn't budged. I don't think I'll get too excited yet . . .

A station by us has there reg gas 35 cents cheeper per gallon if you get a wash. So if you get 20 gallons you save $ 7 dollars, there cheapest wash is $ 5 bucks. So you make out. But they are betting that with todays cars, very few have tanks larger than 20 Gal. My old Suburban had a 40 gallon tank, but our Buick has like 18 Gallons, but who goes in empty?
You know what gets me about these gas companies? If the price of a barrel goes up , the price of gas at the pump goes up the same day. If the price of crude goes down, it takes two weeks before we see any decrease at the pumps.

I guess that's called "speculating" or perhaps "profiteering."
A friend of mine has a wholesale electrical business and she bought tons of copper wire three years ago. She changes the price daily, and all that extra is pure profit. Does that mean she's a bad person or a smart business woman?
People just are annoyed about fuel because it's the talk of the day. This type of behavior has been happening since the days of Solomon.
