Passport owners beware. The problem is in the fender wells, Keystone brings the exterior wall down into the fender well trims off the excess and slaps a fender skirt over the trimmed wood. The problem is as you drive down the road in the rain the wood backing on the fiberglass gets wet and swells, this will eventually cause your wall to delaminate. I have been working with keystone and so far they have refused to help. The reason I am posting here is after talking with the dealer I stuck my head in the fender wells of 3 brand new Passports on the lot. All 3 had the exact same design problem that I described above.

And would that dealer be between Savannah and Elton Road Exits or the one in Byram?! Visiting them tomorrow.

Damp wood takes about a year to rot and be noticed.

That's why RV manufacturers give you a 1 year warranty--then they call it a lack of proper maintenance issue!

No. That is Turning Wheel RV. A little further down the road at the Bryam exit is Country Creek Rv. I really cant fault the dealer Country Creek. It is Keystone that will not admit fault. And as one other person wrote I am approching the 2 year mark and just noticed this problem.

If the manufacturer just does nothing you can go the route of wet treatment to the panels. Many here and in the technical forums can give you details.

I've posted on this site about water running down our floor while towing in the pouring down rain. Maybe it was this problem and NOT the loose A/C bolts we were told about that caused this water to flow. We only noticed the water on the floor, not the walls or ceiling, as I would have thought, had it been leaking from above!

We have our camper parked in a permanent slot for now. Maybe this will help delay the water damage you mentioned! I hope so. We can't afford to dump this dog right now, due to being upside down in it. Keystone doesn't help, as you mentioned, as well.
